Welcome to Highland Sun's home page! Highland Sun is one of the top independent bands in Southern California, specializing in traditional Celtic music. We play regularly throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. If you're looking for great tunes - jigs, reels, hornpipes, and soul-stirring songs, you've found the right place!

We mainly perform Irish and Scottish songs, tunes, and dances, with a scattering of other regions mixed in for flavor. The band centers on dual fiddles, blending the crisp Donegal style with Scottish influences. We favor up-tempo dance tunes, lightly punctuated with slower, more contemplative music.
